Meet Rebecca Sibiya
My continuous journey consists of a series of milestones where at each one, I pause and ponder whether I am still on the right path or whether I need to change direction. I am intentional about creating positive ripples along the way, understanding that my journey is not a sprint but a marathon. There is no destination but a destiny. It is a never-ending journey of learning and self-discovery.
Rebecca Sibiya is a Ripple Creator who creates ripples by touching people’s hearts in a positive way. She is a qualified Leadership Communication and Performance Coach, Public Speaker, Facilitator and Human Resource Consultant with more than 20 years’ experience.
Rebecca is an accredited Toastmasters Leadership Institute (TLI) Trainer and Services SETA Facilitator. She has achieved Toastmasters International’s highest level of educational achievement, the Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) award, which recognizes superior achievement in both communication and leadership.
She served as a member of the National Research Foundation (NRF)Bid Award Committee (BAC) for three years until 31 March 2017 – the highest bid evaluated was R256 million. She served as a Trustee on the NRF Pension Fund Board of Trustees for three years until 31 July 2017. She further served as a member of the Nanotechnology Public Engagement Programme (NPEP) Advisory Council.
